Should I Paint My Exposed Beams Remove Paint From Wood Ceiling?

Remove paint from wood ceiling? - should i paint my exposed beams

Looking at a house whose roof is painted white (to buy timber)) and green (the area between the bars. Is there an easy way to remove the paint (latex likely to know) not only to expose the wood beneath? The wood is because you can see the grain. I saw a house like this, and wooden beams were much richer than the white and green. the paint around the house is terrible, and certainly not himself. Advice about this would help!

The best way is to find an infrared heat gun. Here's a site with information about them. http://www.silentpaintremover.com/spr/co ...

We hope that somewhere near you that you can rent one.

Of course, you have just a few 5-gallon buckets of paint remover. Roll on them, wait for the bubble, scrape, and then apply the stripper to leave. If it does not all come with a stripper, you need to sand, but it's worth the patience to begin with extractor .... especially in the ceiling.
